As an artist, teacher and mentor,

I specialize in glass and mixed media mosaics, as well as guiding others in the process of self discovery and reconnection through creativity. I thrive in the possibility of transforming a pile of shards into a work of art with a message and a life force. I began practicing the art of mosaics in 2004, and in 2008, I began leading others in the creation of their own mosaic art. Over the years, I’ve taught more than 2000 students of all ages, in small groups and individually, and these relationships have brought forth beauty, self reflection and growth on multiple levels. In 2023, following a period of profound personal transformation, I began offering one-on-one mentorship sessions, guiding others in recognizing deeper connection to the sacred within themselves; and healing through self awareness.

My journey to becoming a mosaic artist began many years ago.

As a child, I was always making something, often repurposing materials and compiling wonderful collections. I would completely immerse myself in the creative process. I first discovered my love of mosaic art while on a semester abroad in Spain, where I first encountered the ancient Roman style mosaics, and then the more exploratory work of Antoni Gaudi in Barcelona. I received Gaudi’s work as an invitation to explore this medium in my own expressive style. I was particularly intrigued by the versatility of mosaics, and once I noticed, I began seeing them everywhere I looked. From, cathedral floors and ceilings, park fountains and sculptures, subway station wall adornments, kitchen and bathroom backsplashes, framed art pieces, and even jewelry. I had a potent sense that there was a lifetime of possibility in this for me. In 2006, I opened my first studio, in my mom’s garage, in Florence, Massachusetts, and held classes there. In 2008, I began organizing programs and teaching at Snow Farm: The New England Craft Program, where, I became part of an incredible community of artists and teachers, in mediums ranging from painting and collage, to glassblowing, welding, encaustic painting, pottery, woodworking and metalsmithing. Exposure to all of these mediums, and to this community of artists was formative for me, and my unique voice and style as an artist really began to take shape.

In 2016, I moved from the garage studio into a large studio in an old mill building in Easthampton MA. I was able to hold classes for larger groups there and created a lot of large commissioned mosaic murals for both public spaces and private homes.

While developing my career as an artist, and particularly beginning in 2016, my life gave me the circumstances I needed to deepen my exploration of spirituality. I had the great fortune of meeting inspiring teachers, and experiencing many different earth-based traditions that had previously been outside of my awareness. I expanded my understanding of the universe, of how I understand God and myself, and I received tools and wisdom from the Toltec tradition to help me shift my perspective and find the medicine I need within me. I underwent deep level healing through these experiences. This led to further development of my art and teaching, and also led to my husband Bill and I moving out to the country and welcoming our daughter Sophia in 2019.

Since then, I have gone through many more layers of transformation and multiple training programs to build my skills in mentoring others and working with Reiki energy in all of the work that I do. I opened my new studio in the spring of 2024, on our property, Rainbow Hill Farm, in Conway Massachusetts.

It is an honor to work with people, in both mentorship and teaching mosaic workshops, to bring about awareness, healing, and love on a personal level and beyond.
