A Mosaic of Gratitude: Honoring the many Artists!

By Published On: November 26, 2025

The studio has been a lively place this fall! It has been amazing to watch and support as these works have evolved, and to enjoy the company of many inspiring people.

I’m excited to share this collection of mosaics made in my workshops by student/artists this fall. There was a workshop on Mosaics Inspired by Nature that met on Wednesday mornings, a workshop on Mosaic Quilts that met on Thursday evenings, and many Stepping Stones, made in Saturday workshops.

There are endless ways to see beauty in the world and each artist expresses their vision, piece by piece, in this rewarding process. Congratulations to: Nanci, Juanita, Cathey, Tiffany, Marcia, Robin, Sue, Nancy, Ann, Donnabelle, Mary, Dee, Alice, Joyce, Carol, Linda, Tiffany, Kate, Emma, Wendy, Lucy, Sarah, Bonnie, Alison, Sharon, Amy, Martha and Jo Ann. I am grateful to each of you for allowing me to share in your creative process over the past few months, and honored to share the beauty you created. It’s been such a pleasure working with all of you.

Here are some testimonials from students about their experience:

“I love working with Christine in her peaceful studio. Christine is nonjudgmental, always willing to give supportive suggestions and extends herself beyond. It has been a joy to spend time working in her studio and to exchange creative ideas. She spurs me on to continue to be creative and complete projects. What a joy! –Sue B Northampton, MA

Christine brings an energy of warmth, support and the joy of creativity to her mosaic classes. She is a skilled teacher who supports each student where they are at. –M.W. Northampton

Christine is a thoughtful and creative teacher. With a caring approach to students who have a variety of interests and levels of experience she responds to their questions and ideas by sharing individualized possibilities for moving forward in their work. Her classes are both industrious and fun. Judy Darrow Freed, Brattleboro, VT

As we head into the holiday season, and I wrap up my teaching for the year, I feel moved to express my gratitude. A huge thank you to everyone who has followed my work as an artist and to those who have come to the studio to take a workshop. I am so honored to be able to witness the creative process unfold piece by piece. Holding space as others find their own beauty brings joy and purpose to my life.

I’ll be working on a large commissioned project in my studio this winter. Stay tuned, as I’ll probably share work in progress photos sometime in January.

Wishing you all a beautiful holiday season, filled with warmth, light and love.
